Admission Criteria
- 5 Years of experience as a 68WM6
- Minimum military rank of Specialist
- Deployment in a patient care position is preferred
- Personal recommendations and interview
- Successful complete of 55 semester credit hours (SCH) of general ed. courses, 3 SCH Pathophysiology course, online from TTUHSC.

Our School of Nursing has developed an exciting new educational opportunity for those who already have been an experienced Army 68WM6 and are now separated or retired from the military to enter the professional nursing workforce as baccalaureate prepared registered nurses ready to assume the vigorous demands of today’s high technology health system upon graduation.
Successful NCLEX exam = BSN RN
This one-year (51 week), accelerated, alternate entry BSN option is offered via our School of Nursing. This web-based experience has Coach (preceptor) and nurse educator oversight in the Austin and El Paso areas.
The REV-UPN program is designed to acknowledge the soldier’s previous educational and experiential competencies they have received during the development of their military occupation specialty, as well as their responsive patient care services provided during deployment in wartime activities.
