Barb has provided more than 2800 continuing education events on clinical topics pertaining to pathophysiology, physical assessment, and pharmacology to health care professionals throughout the United States and Canada. She has been the motivational keynote speaker on health maintenance topics for numerous nursing associations, medical associations and dental associations as well as for corporate groups and events.
She has held faculty positions at the University of Virginia, the University of Arkansas, Loyola University of Chicago, and St. Xavier University of Chicago. She has provided courses on Advanced Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Physical Assessment to graduate and undergraduate students.
Barb Bancroft is the author of eight books: Medical Minutiae (1999), An Apple a Day: The ABCs of Diet and Disease (2002), Live a Little, Laugh a Lot (2004), Kiss My Asparagus (2012), Geriatric Gems (2018), Focus on Pharmacology (2019), Plants or Pills? (2019), and her latest 2019 release—Laughing My Aspirin Off.
Barb is a fascinating, highly informative speaker whose dynamic and humorous presentation style makes learning enjoyable. She provides a wealth of clinical information that can be applied to everyday practice.
Kelly Klein MD is a graduate Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. After practicing family medicine for over a dozen years in rural West Texas, she returned to TTTUHSC to teach family medicine. In addition to providing full spectrum family medical care in the Texas Tech Physicians Family Medicine Clinic, she also cares for patients who are suffering or at the end of life, and educates fellows, residents, and medical students how to do the same. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and is Board Certified in both Family Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is the Program Director for the TTUHSC Hospice and Palliative Fellowship, and is part of the Supportive Care team at University Medical Center. Dr Klein is a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine, and a Certified Hospice Medical Director. She has also been a Hospice Medical Director since 2003.
Wendy received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She is a 1992 graduate of the Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts and completed a family nurse practitioner post-master’s program in 1995. She is an adult and family nurse practitioner and the owner of two, nurse practitioner owned and operated clinics within New Hampshire named: Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. Her family practices have won numerous awards, including Top Providers in New Hampshire 2018, Top 20 Fastest Growing Family Business, and Top 20 Women-Owned Business in New Hampshire. In addition, she is the Owner of Partners in Healthcare Education, a medical education company. She is the Past President of NPACE and the Senior lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates
She is the recipient of numerous awards and was chosen by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as the 1999 recipient of the New Hampshire State Excellence Award. In addition, she received the 2009 NH Nurse Practitioner of the Year and the 2014 Top 5 Women in New Hampshire Business Award. In 2005, she was inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; in October 2014, a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, and in March 2017, a Fellow into the National Academies of Practice.
She is the founder of the NH Chamber of Entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioners, an organization designed to assist nurse practitioners with independent practice issues. In addition to full-time clinical practice, she presents nationally to different audiences and has been a speaker at over 1000 conferences in 47 states. She is the nurse practitioner representative to the State of NH Immunization Advisory Board. She has been a medical media spokesperson for numerous companies and has appeared on radio, television, and in print magazines. Wendy is frequently consulted by malpractice attorneys around the area of clinical practice and has worked on more than 100 malpractice cases involving nurses and nurse practitioners.

Our conference will be held at our new Academic Event Center. There are 61 first come, first serve parking spaces in D2, which is the parking area directly in front of the AEC. If those spaces are full, you will need to park in F3.
